Some of you might have seen moxa herbs before. In English, it’s translated to wormwood or mugwort. They look very similar. But until today, I am not so sure whether they are exactly the same herb. But I do know, due to the geographic difference, the smell and taste are a bit different. I tried to plant it here in Canada by myself, but then I found out the moxa herbs grown here lack the fresh aroma, and they taste bitter. So I expect the effect would also be a bit different.This is to be further tested in the future.

When we talk about moxa, we normally refer to the leaves. The leaf protrusion of real moxa is like a duck’s foot, instead of a chicken’s foot.
