Unless there are particular problems to be treated, such as a breech position, where it is best to use moxibustion, it’s not advisable to do moxibustion by yourself during pregnancy. The reason is simple: You don’t want to involve any risk. Moxibustion could push qi movement too much if you don’t know how.
