This is not only commonly seen in young kids but also in adults. Whether it is rhinitis or sinusitis, the treatment is the same from a Chinese medicinal point of view. It just means that the position of blockage is different. Moxibustion is very good. Clinically, I also use herbal tea together with moxibustion, which will be much faster.

Here is a real story shared by a moxibustion follower:

• My daughter is 6 years old and has a history of rhinitis and sinusitis for 3 years. This also caused her secretory otitis media. After trying many medicines and methods, the child’s sinusitis has not been cured. Later, after being introduced by a friend, I tried moxibustion to treat sinusitis.
• My daughter has had a runny nose almost every day since September last year. I did moxibustion for her on the Feishu (BL13), Da Zhui (GV14), and navel (CV8).  At the same time, I also did moxibustion on the acupuncture points on the face every day—Yingxiang, Yintang, Yangbai, and Tai Yang—for 20 days, and the child’s condition was improving. But then thicker nasal pus discharge suddenly came out, which lasted intermittently for another 20 days. Although I had doubts, I did not give up on moxibustion. After I insisted for 20 more days, these symptoms slowly disappeared. After another 8 days, my daughter’s nasal discharge suddenly disappeared. It has been 10 days with no nasal discharge at all. Her long-time nose problem has been cured. I feel so happy.
